BBQ Baked Beans

Much better then out of the can! The main difference is BBQ Sauce. Experiment to find your favorite.
Ingredients
| 4 – 6 slices bacon – cut into thin strips | 1/2 cup open pit BBQ Sauce, any flavor |
| 2 1/3 cups finely chopped onions | 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
| 2 (16 oz) cans baked beans | 1 T mustard |
| 2 tsp onion powder | 2 T butter |
| 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder | 1/2 tsp ground black pepper |
Directions
Sauté bacon and onion in large saucepan until onions are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cook 15 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
